The Fields Golf Club

The Fields has become somewhat of a cult classic, where Owner/Architect Mike Young crafted affordable, low-profile golf in the middle of Georgia.

We have shaped at The Fields on many projects, but primarily in the reduction of overall bunker square footage. This was done by outright replacement, sometimes with broken ground and grass hollows, but also by reducing their size. In some cases, bunkers were added to address safety concerns, such as on the 2nd hole to guide players away from hitting onto the 7th tee. We also assisted with tee expansion, drainage improvements, and tree removal. It remains one of our favourite places in the game of golf.
